Theresa is the Managing Director of Phoenix Title but prefers her title of “Chief Inspiration Officer” because she is happiest when inspiring others to follow their dreams, big or small. Theresa is a Licensed Title Producer with over 20 years of experience in Business Management, Accounting and Human Resources.

As a Human Resources professional, she has led her past employer in the title industry to receiving the Best Places to Work award in 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.  Theresa studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Louisiana and National Taiwan University. She also has a Human Resources Management certification from Louisiana State University. She is quadrilingual, speaking Mandarin, Taiwanese, Cantonese and English and welcomes every opportunity to translate. When she isn’t working on cultivating and retaining a positive company culture and building authentic relationships, Theresa enjoys spending time with her daughter, Leila, traveling the world, and making contributions to uplift our community.  

Miranda is our Title Processor, but she wears many hats here at Phoenix Title. She greets our guests with a bright smile and lots of southern hospitality. She handles our clients’ transactions with great care and is always eager to answer any questions. She does an amazing job in making sure every transaction is on schedule and that our customers are updated every step of the way to the closing table.

Emily has a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History and with work experience in human resources, accounting, and graphic design, she has become a “jack of all trades” in her professional career. Currently pursuing a second degree in Landscape Architecture, she enjoys creative pursuits and has developed an eye for design. As head of marketing and social media at Phoenix Title, she is passionate about educating and forming meaningful relationships with clients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games with friends, and hanging out with her three cats.

Stephen Sterling, III is a native Baton Rougean with a deep passion for people, particularly those without power or a voice. He has earned a fierce reputation as a trial advocate throughout his legal career since 2000, wherein he graduated with a Juris Doctor of Law from SULC, Southern University in Baton Rouge.

Upon graduation, Sterling embarked on his career helping the less fortunate, he was all too familiar with from his very own neighborhood and opened a private practice where he focused on trial work, successions, mitigation, and jury consultation. Through this practice, he developed a passion for the real estate industry, leading him to his matriculation to title work.

Sterling is an Honors grad from SULC, Spring Hill College and Catholic High School, where he was a student leader, athlete and Man of The Year honoree as well as Hall of Fame inductee for the school in 2021.

A proud graduate of Savannah State University. Ty returned home to Baton Rouge to pursue her legal career. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center.

As a Baton Rouge native, Ty believes in treating clients with the familiarity of a neighbor. She is passionate about providing quality service and committed to serving the community.

In her spare time, Ty enjoys worship, spending time with family, spoiling her “pon” (puppy-son), “Carlito-Santana”, and traveling with friends.
